NBC News conducted a survey of 1030 North Carolina adults between Aug 4 and Aug 10, 2016. Respondents were contacted by either Cellphone or Landline and instructed by a live operator. The results of this poll were released on Aug 12, 2016.

The poll was sponsored by the Wall Street Journal and Marist Institute for Public Opinion.

Results were provided for the only publicly acknowledged question.
